2018 JDC Ashalim Prize Recipients

The JDC Ashalim Prize awards pioneering and innovative projects.

The Springboard program from the Spring Valley Regional Council came in First Place. This program provides local students with a day of futuristic and diverse learning each week.

In Second Place came the Maor Yeshiva staff- a 3D printing course for teenage boys from the Ultra-Orthodox community.

Third Place was awarded to the Arab Center for Mind, Brain & Behavior- a pioneering center in the Arab society.

An additional JDC Ashalim Director's Prize was awarded to the staff of Adraba center- an initiative for people with disabilities. The staff are developing an application and an accessible Siddur for bar and bat mitzvahs.

Thanks to all the candidates and congratulations to the winners!

The Ashalim Award is made possible thanks to the generous donation of Hagai Avisar and Family, who has supported the award for many years throughout a generous gift.
